What plans are available?
Loaded offers two plans:
- Free: free, unlimited workouts, 500+ exercises, basic nutrition, social feed, streaks and badges.
- Pro: €9.99/mo or €59.99/yr (no commitment). Unlocks the AI nutrition scanner, InsightEngine analytics, challenges, Spotify + PlaylistHub, Focus Mode, and 15 color themes.
How do I subscribe to Pro?
Pro is purchased directly in the iOS app via the App Store. Go to Profile → Upgrade to Pro. A 21-day free trial is available.
How do I cancel my subscription?
The subscription is managed via the App Store: iOS Settings → your name → Subscriptions → Loaded → Cancel. You keep Pro access until the end of the paid period.
I was charged but I don't have Pro access
Check that you're signed in with the same Apple ID used for the purchase. Go to Profile → Help → Restore Purchases. If that doesn't fix it, contact us with a screenshot of your App Store receipt.
Is there a free trial?
Yes, 21-day free trial for Pro, no commitment.
🏋️ Training
Which disciplines are supported?
5 disciplines: Bodybuilding, Powerlifting, Weightlifting, CrossFit, Cardio. Each discipline tailors the full experience (exercises, rest timer, metrics).
How many exercises are available?
500+ exercises with primary/secondary muscles. You can also create your own custom exercises.
How do I create a routine?
Go to the Training → Routines → + New routine. Add exercises, set sets/reps/rest, and save. You can launch it from this tab.
The Smart Rest Timer doesn't ring
Check that Loaded notifications are enabled in iOS Settings → Notifications → Loaded. Also check that silent mode isn't enabled for Loaded.
How do I edit a past workout?
Go to Training → History, tap the workout, then Edit.
What is RPE?
RPE (Rate of Perceived Exertion) is a 1–10 difficulty rating you can add to each set. It helps analyze performance over time.
How does PR detection work?
Loaded automatically detects personal records (estimated 1RM, max load, max volume) in real time during the workout. A visual celebration appears when a PR is broken.
What is Focus Mode?
Focus Mode (Pro) blocks distracting apps during your workouts via iOS Screen Time API. Enable it in Settings → Focus Mode.
How does equipment calibration work?
Equipment Calibration lets you configure your gym's machines (cables, plates, etc.) so displayed loads match reality. Go to Settings → Equipment.
🥗 Nutrition
How many foods are in the database?
128,000+ foods from 3 sources: Ciqual (France), USDA (USA), and OpenFoodFacts. The database is stored locally for instant search.
How does food search work?
4 automatic tiers: 1) Personal history, 2) Local FTS5 database, 3) Backend community, 4) Live OpenFoodFacts. The fastest and most accurate source is always used first.
The barcode scanner doesn't recognize a product
If the product isn't in our database, you can add it manually by tapping Create a food after a negative scan. Fill in the nutrition info from the packaging.
How does the AI Scanner work?
The AI scanner (Pro) recognizes foods with the camera. Point at your plate and Loaded automatically identifies the foods. It combines a local YOLO model + Gemini Vision as fallback. The more you scan, the better the model gets.
How do I create a recipe?
Go to Nutrition → Recipes → + New recipe. Add ingredients with their weight; Loaded automatically computes macros per serving.
Macros don't match my goals
Check your goals in Profile → Goals. You can customize calories, protein, carbs, and fat to your needs.

What is the InsightEngine?
The InsightEngine (Pro) is Loaded's AI engine with 5 sub-engines: plateau detection, recovery analysis, nutrition optimization, volume balance, and progression predictions.
How do I sync Apple Health?
Go to Settings → Integrations → Apple Health → Enable. Allow the requested permissions. Loaded syncs: sleep, steps, heart rate, VO2max, and weight.
Apple Health sync doesn't work
Go to iOS Settings → Health → Sources → Loaded and check that all permissions are enabled.
🏅 CrossFit Hub
What is the CrossFit Hub?
The CrossFit Hub gathers CrossFit benchmarks (Fran, Murph, Helen + 26 others), the daily WOD, your PR Board, a Fit Score, and the community leaderboard.
How is the daily WOD generated?
Pulled automatically every morning from CrossFit.com and published in the app.
What is the Fit Score?
A composite score that measures overall fitness based on your performance on CrossFit benchmarks.
🎵 Music & Spotify
How do I connect Spotify?
Go to Profile → Music → Connect Spotify. Authorize access when Spotify prompts you.
Spotify doesn't work in the app
Spotify in Loaded is currently in development mode, limited to 25 whitelisted users. You'll be notified when access opens to the public.
What is the PlaylistHub?
The PlaylistHub (Pro) lets you create and share collaborative playlists with other Loaded users.
🎮 Gamification
How do streaks work?
A streak counts consecutive days where you logged at least one activity (workout, meal tracked, etc.). It resets if you skip a day, unless you have a Streak Shield available.
What are LP and CP?
LP (Loaded Points) = permanent XP that levels you up. CP (Coach Points) = spendable currency you earn alongside LP, used to buy color themes in Settings → Themes.
What are Leagues?
Leagues (Pro) are competitive tiers (Bronze, Silver, Gold, etc.) based on your weekly activity. You move up or down based on your performance compared to the community.
🔐 Account & sign-in
How do I sign in?
Loaded uses Sign in with Apple. Tap Continue with Apple and follow the steps. No password to create.
I lost access to my Apple account
If you lost your Apple ID, contact Apple support directly. Your Loaded account is tied to your Apple ID.
How do I delete my account?
Go to Profile → Settings → Delete my account. This action is irreversible and deletes all your data (40+ tables). Per GDPR, deletion is effective immediately.
How do I export my data?
Go to Profile → Settings → My data → Export. You'll get a file with all your data (workouts, nutrition, profile) per GDPR.
📱 Technical & bugs
The app closes on its own / crashes
Force quit (swipe up from bottom → swipe up on Loaded), then relaunch. If the issue persists, update iOS. If it continues, contact support describing what happens before the crash.
Data doesn't sync
Check your internet connection. Close and reopen the app. Sync happens automatically once connection is restored.
The "Syncing" banner stays visible
Usually due to an unstable connection. Close and reopen the app. If it persists, contact support.
The app is slow
Fully close the app and relaunch. If the issue persists on a current iOS version, contact support with your iPhone model and iOS version.
I'm not getting notifications
Go to iOS Settings → Notifications → Loaded. Also check that Do Not Disturb isn't active.
Is the app available in English?
Loaded is currently in French. English and Spanish versions are in development and will roll out progressively.
🏋️♂️ Coach Portal
How do I invite a client?
Go to Clients → Invite a client. Enter the client's email and an invitation code will be generated. The client enters this code in the iOS app via Profile → My Coach → Join a coach.
The invitation email was not sent
If RESEND_API_KEY is configured, the email is sent automatically. Otherwise, the portal displays "Share the code manually". You can copy the code and send it yourself by email, SMS, or other means.
How do I create a program?
Go to Programs → Create a program. Set the name, duration (in weeks), number of sessions per week, discipline, and level. Then click on the program to edit it: add sessions per day, and exercises in each session.
How do I assign a program to a client?
In Programs, click on the program → Assign. Select the start date and the relevant clients, then confirm. The program will appear in the client's app as routines.
How does Progressive Overload work?
In the session editor, when you have at least 1 exercise, the Progressive Overload button appears. You can increase weights (by % or kg), sets, and reps across the entire session or a selection of exercises, then apply to the next week or duplicate.
How do I create a WOD?
Go to Routines → WODs tab → Create a WOD. Choose the type (AMRAP, For Time, EMOM, Tabata, Chipper, Ladder, Death By, Classic), configure the parameters (time cap, rounds, rep scheme), then add movements with reps, load, distance, etc.
How do I use my routines in a program?
In the program editor, in session mode, the left sidebar has 3 tabs: Exercises, Routines, WODs. Click on the Routines or WODs tab, then click on a routine to import its exercises into the current session. It's an editable copy.
What WOD types are available?
8 types: Classic, AMRAP (As Many Rounds As Possible), For Time, EMOM (Every Minute On the Minute), Tabata (20s work / 10s rest), Chipper (1 long round), Ladder (ascending/descending scheme), Death By (add 1 rep every minute).
How do I view a client's compliance?
Go to Clients → click on a client. If a program is assigned, you'll see compliance per week (% of sessions completed). If no program is assigned, "No program assigned" is displayed.
How does coach billing work?
Your coach subscription (Starter €19.99/month or Pro) is managed via Stripe in Settings. Client payments go through Stripe Connect (destination charges): you receive the amount minus the Loaded commission (5% Starter / 3% Pro) directly to your connected Stripe account.
My client doesn't appear in the list
Check that the client has accepted the invitation with the code. They must go to Profile → My Coach → Join a coach in the iOS app. The client must have an active Loaded account.
Client statistics are empty
Stats are populated as the client logs sessions in the app. If the client just joined, they won't have data yet. Sessions must be marked as completed to count.

How do I make my profile private?
Go to Profile → Settings → Privacy → Private account. People will need to follow you to see your activity.
How do I follow someone?
Search for the user via the search bar, open their profile and tap Follow. If their account is private, you'll need to wait for them to accept your request.
How do I share a workout to Instagram?
In history, open the workout then Share → Instagram Story. A story-format image is generated automatically.
How do I copy a routine from a post?
On a workout post, tap Copy routine to add it directly to your programs.
